The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) warmly welcomes you to a vibrant and innovative community. Since its inception in 2008 with 60 students, our department has grown to an intake of 120, evolving into a center of advanced learning, research, and technological excellence. Our distinguished faculty offers a diverse curriculum, covering foundational principles and emerging fields like Big Data Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, IoT, and more. High Performance Computing Lab

High Performance Computing Lab is equipped with The Intel i7-12700 processor, a powerful, modern CPU with 12 cores (8 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), a base clock of 2.10 GHz (and a boost clock up to 4.90 GHz), and a 65W TDP. This lab enables students to develop solutions that push the boundaries of computational efficiency and scalability. This combination of multi-core architecture and energy efficiency makes it a versatile choice in computer science and software engineering, especially for tasks that require significant processing power and multitasking capabilities. The Lab facilitates working on Machine Learning and AI Development: Data Science and Big Data Processing: Database Management and SQL Querying: Content Creation and Multimedia Processing.

Networking and IoT Lab

Networking Lab is equipped with the Intel i5-2400 3.1 GHz processor to provide students with hands-on experience in understanding, designing, configuring, and analysing computer networks and their underlying protocols. The Networking and IoT (Internet of Things) Lab provides students with a practical environment to explore, design, and implement solutions in the fields of computer networking, wireless communication, and IoT systems. Students gain the skills to troubleshoot, optimise, and secure networks while understanding their real-world applications in fields like cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IoT. The lab integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience to foster an in-depth understanding of networking protocols, IoT architectures, and real-world applications.

Web and Mobile Application Lab

The Web and Mobile Application Development Lab is a state-of-the-art facility designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills in designing, developing, and deploying web and mobile applications. The lab emphasizes hands-on experience with the latest technologies to build scalable, responsive, and secure applications for diverse platforms. Students develop Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), real-time chat apps, and cross-platform mobile solutions with live deployment. This lab prepares students for careers in modern software development, emphasizing innovation and industry-ready skills.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Lab

The AI & ML Lab is designed to equip students with practical skills and knowledge to implement intelligent systems and machine learning algorithms. It provides a hands-on learning environment to explore the foundations of artificial intelligence, including data processing, algorithm design, and the application of machine learning models in solving real-world problems. The AI section is dedicated to implementing AI models and algorithms such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing. Students work with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn, gaining insights into real-world AI applications such as computer vision, robotics, and data-driven decision-making.

Android & Java Lab

Android & Java Lab is a hands-on learning environment where students or developers gain practical experience in Android app development using Java. Participants learn to create and optimize Android applications, focusing on UI design, activity life cycles, databases, and integrating APIs, all while using Android Studio. This lab offers a mix of theory and practical exercises, ideal for beginners and those looking to enhance their mobile development skills.  

DBMS & DMW Lab

DBMS & DMW Lab focuses on providing hands-on experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS) and Data Warehousing (DMW) concepts. In this lab, students learn to design, implement, and manage databases using SQL, as well as explore data storage, retrieval, and manipulation techniques. Additionally, the lab covers data warehousing concepts, including ETL processes, data modeling, and the creation of data marts. Through practical exercises and projects, participants gain skills in managing large datasets, performing complex queries, and working with tools for business intelligence and data analysis.
