The School of Science organized a club activity as an event of the OPJU Literary Club (Upashana), Reader’s Voice-Book Review Competition for the students of the School of Science on 21 Feb 2025. Fifteen students from across the departments of SoS actively participated in the activity and presented the review of various books which they read through oral presentation. The activity was coordinated by Dr. Arindam Patra, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities. The event was judged by Dr. Suman Kumar Sahoo, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Dr. Arindam Patra. The event started with a welcome address by Dr. Arindam Patra followed by the presentation of the participants. The event ended with the prize distribution ceremony where the winners were awarded with certificates and books as prizes. The first position was secured by Ms. Anushka Kumari from the Department of Mathematics, the second position was secured by Ms. Anjali Kumari from the Department of Chemistry and the third position was secured by Mr. Rishabh Kumar from the Department of Physics. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Arindam Patra.
