6 Received ‘Metallurgist of the Year – 2003’ award, constituted by the Ministry of National Metallurgists’ Day celebration held at Science City, Kolkata on November 14, 2003, for his outstanding contribution in the areas of Metallurgy and Material Science with a special emphasis to the ‘Development of Metal Matrix Composites.
