e-Faculty Development Program(e-FDP) On “Emerging Trends in Power Electronics and Power System (ETPEPS-2020)”
Due to spread of pandemic Covid-19, in the present scenario, an online/virtual faculty development programme is offeredtitled as “Emerging Trends in Power Electronics and Power System (ETPEPS-2020)”.It will be very useful for the facultiesand research scholars of the whole country, those who are working in the field of Electrical Engineering. The objectives ofprogram are to provide a platform for interaction and exchange of ideas on recent trends in the field of power electronics, power system and renewable energy system among faculty members, research scholars, young scientists and postgraduates students of various organizations.
The program will be conducted in an interactive environment providing greater scope for discussion. Emphasis will be on a highly participative style of learning. Following are some highlights for areas of innovations:
A Three-Day Faculty Development Programme Cum Training Workshop On “Climate Change And Disaster Risk Reduction”. Jointly Organzied By NIDM & OP Jindal University, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh
OP Jindal University, Raigarh(Chhattisgarh) and National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, India, are organizing an e-Faculty Development Program cum Training workshop entitled “Climate Change And Disaster Risk Reduction” from 18th -20th August 2020 for faculty, research scholars, industry person and students.
The objective of this FDP-TW is to nurture the research aptitude and competency development of the young Faculty Members/ Research Scholars/ M.Tech students, either doing research or planning to undertake research work under the domains of Climate change and Disaster Risk.
Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics” in association with IEEE Bombay Section and AICRA India
"People usually say they want a human element to their interactions but Covid-19 has changed that," says Martin Ford, a futurist who has written about the way’s robots will be integrated into the economy in the coming decades."Covid-19 is going to change consumer preference and really open up new opportunities for automation."
It gives us immense pleasure to share with you that the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, OPJU is organizing a Five-Day Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation” under IEEE Bombay Section from August 3-7, 2020.
The proposed FDP aims to make the participants aware of the state-of-the-art, new research results, perspectives of future developments, and innovative applications relevant to mechatronics, robotics, automation, industrial electronics, and related areas. The course will also help to identify future research needs in this interdisciplinary emerging field. Also, it will bring all the people working in the area of Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics on a single platform so that they can exchange information, their ideas and achievements in the work.
