OP Jindal University (OPJU), Raigarh is organizing the Fifth “Industry-Academia Conclave (IAC-2024): “Cultivating Curiosity: Nurturing Innovation through Collaborative Education and Industry” during February 23-24, 2024 in association with Institutional Innovation Council (An initiative of the Ministry of Education), IEEE Industry Relation Committee, Association of Welding Product Manufacturers Association (AWPM), Indian Institute of Welding (IIW) Kolkata, CII Biomass Industry Association.
This student-led initiative aims to bridge the gap between the industry needs and the academic community and provide a common platform for the exchange of ideas and set up a system to increase collaboration between the two. At the confluence of education and industry, this theme envisions a space where knowledge and expertise intertwine, igniting the spark of innovation. Through collaborative efforts, academia provides the fertile ground for cultivating inquisitive minds while industry offers the real-world context for application and impact. The industry could also benefit from the knowledge of the ongoing R&D projects, and could then actively participate in those that might interest them.
The conclave will host several keynote from across our industry partners, and also conduct multiple breakout sessions to discuss the specific issues outlined above. The event will also showcase the awards for the best startups, and incubators of Chattisgarh, and outside states. It is expected that more than 200 personnel from various Industries and R&D organizations will be participating in the conclave in addition to local participants.
The conclave is also coupled with National Innovation Fest 3.0 with 400+ participants from outside University in ideation, prototype and start up pitch events in association with JSP Foundation and National Human Resource Development (NHRD)
