The Placement season in OPJU, Raigarh begin in the month of September and goes on up to June. However, our office is a place buzzing with ideas, activities and enthusiasm throughout the year. We carry out the following activities on campus.
Resume Verification – Resume Submitted for campus placement by the students are duly verified for every claim made. The verification standard are uniform throughout the Institute.
Employability Enhancement Program – We aim to give our student the fine tuning that they require not just for placement but also as they embark on their corporate careers. With this goal in mind, we carry out several employability enhancement activities that include - Communication Evaluation session & Preparatory activities like mock test and group discussion.
Career counseling session - To Inform and educate students about the various job opportunities available in the corporate world.
Group Discussion – To provide training and practice to the students about in group behavior and leadership skills.
Presentation skills and workshops – To enhance communication techniques

MOCK INTERVIEW -The Mock Interviews are arranged by career services department for 7th Semester students by technical and HR representatives from JSPL and it’s group companies, SSD-Punjipathra, NSPL (NALWA), JPL-Tamnar, DCPP Dongamahua, JIPT.The support of various Jindal Group located in the vicinity of OPJU helps in inculcating the right spirit and skills in the budding technocrats which gives a substantial, differential and competitive advantage over any other conventional engineering colleges. OPJIT gets the leverage of Jindal Group Companies through guest lectures, workshops, Industrial Training, Problem and Project based learning, Mock Interviews and exposure to the live projects going in its surrounding.
